  Extending the Season

If you close down during the winter you may be losing out on a potentially lucrative market.  If carried out strategically, winter opening will be good for your business, for your suppliers, other local businesses, will create jobs and help you retain key staff.  But it also helps our Tourism industry, because the more of Scotland that can stay open, the more attractive it will become as an off season destination.
David has plenty of first hand experience and success in this area and can help you grow your off season business.

  Developing Off Season Events

Christmas, Halloween, Hogmanay, Burns night are all powerful marketing opportunities for your business and there are many more potential events which could help you through the quieter periods.  David has considerable personal experience in this area from running small local parties to large international events based in Cities. Such events are the key to your successful, off season business development - we can help you with yours.

  Food Tourism

Scotland had a poor reputation for its food once but not anymore.  Everywhere you look, Scotland has wonderful local produce and by using and promoting it properly you can considerably enhance your profit margins.  Having run his own award winning restaurant and profitably promoted local produce to the wider Tourist market, David can help you ake advantage of this opportunity.

  Developing New Markets

As a global industry, Tourism has been growing year on year and will continue to do so.  But your own "traditional" markets will change over time and you cannot rely on them forever.  One of your most important and developing markets is right on your doorstep. You need to continually innovate and adapt to meet the needs of an ever changing market place - we can show you where to look.

  Collaboration

By working with your colleagues in the industry you can share resources and create greater marketing opportunities.  Your local competitor could be a business opportunity - we can show you how.
